Acceptable Use Policy

These guardrails protect customer accounts, public procurement sources, project contacts, and the reliability of the PinPointe service.

Effective September 3, 2026Version 2026-09-03

1. Intended use

Use PinPointe for lawful business evaluation of construction and climate matches, company qualification planning, alerts, and bid-pursuit organization. Follow applicable procurement rules and the terms of any official source or portal you visit.

2. Protect accounts and people

You may not:

  • Share passwords, session links, verification links, or recovery credentials, or use another person's account. Use a separately authorized account when team access is available.
  • Impersonate a contractor, project owner, public agency, manufacturer, engineer, architect, or PinPointe representative.
  • Upload malicious code, another person's credentials, unnecessary sensitive data, or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, spam, or deceptively contact an issuer, project contact, customer, or other person.
  • Use project contact details for unrelated marketing or sell a contact list derived from PinPointe.

3. Protect systems and public sources

You may not:

  • Probe, scan, exploit, disrupt, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to PinPointe or a connected source.
  • Bypass authentication, paywalls, feature gates, rate limits, robots instructions, CAPTCHAs, or another service's access controls.
  • Use automated extraction, scraping, crawling, or bulk downloading of PinPointe without written permission or a documented integration.
  • Reverse engineer the service except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits.
  • Introduce malware, use the service for denial-of-service activity, or interfere with another customer's use.
  • Use PinPointe to automate bid submission, purchasing, issuer registration, or source-portal interaction.
A PinPointe link does not grant permission to automate or access the linked source. The source's current rules and technical controls still apply.

4. Honest data and decisions

You may not:

  • Falsify licensing, insurance, bonding, eligibility, certifications, experience, ownership, or company capacity.
  • Present a PinPointe match, readiness result, project status, or estimate as an official agency determination or guaranteed outcome.
  • Alter attribution to misrepresent who published an opportunity.
  • Use the service for fraud, collusion, bid rigging, sanctions evasion, unlawful discrimination, or another prohibited purpose.
  • Publish confidential solicitation material or personal information through an open text field.

If a project record is wrong, submit a correction through Support & Corrections rather than attempting to manipulate the source or the platform.

5. Enforcement

The operator may limit or suspend activity while investigating a credible safety, security, legal, source-integrity, or policy concern. The response will be proportionate where practical and may include removing content, rotating sessions, restricting an integration, suspending features, closing an account, or reporting unlawful activity. Notice and an opportunity to respond will be provided where practical and lawful.

6. Report a problem

Report suspected security vulnerabilities privately to the security contact below. Send abuse, impersonation, or questionable project-data reports to support. Include the relevant page, account or project identifier, time, and a concise description; do not send passwords, full card numbers, or unnecessary personal information.
