Billing & Cancellation

A plain-language explanation of recurring Pro subscriptions, Stripe-hosted billing, cancellation, access after cancellation, and refund requests.

Effective September 3, 2026Version 2026-09-03

1. Before you purchase

PinPointe uses Stripe-hosted Checkout. The recurring price, currency, billing interval, and amount due are displayed before you authorize payment. If a tax, trial, or promotion applies, Stripe displays it on that checkout. Review the screen carefully; those purchase details are part of this policy and the Terms of Service.

You must be authorized to purchase for the company account and use the selected payment method. A complimentary or manually granted Pro account is not a paid subscription unless it has a Stripe billing record.

2. Recurring subscription

Pro renews automatically until canceled. Stripe charges the saved payment method at the interval and price shown at checkout, plus only the tax disclosed there, if any. You can review the current status and billing period under Account.

If pricing or the included paid service changes materially, advance notice will be provided where required. A new price will not be silently applied before any notice or consent required by law.

3. Payment information

Stripe collects and processes card or bank details on its own hosted pages. PinPointe does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. It stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, billing period, and related records needed to provide access and customer support.

4. Manage or cancel

  1. Sign in and open Account.
  2. Select Manage Your Subscription.
  3. Use Stripe's Customer Portal to cancel or resume, update payment details, and view invoices.

Unless the portal says otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid billing period and Pro remains available until then. A cancellation stops future renewals; it does not erase an invoice already due, close the PinPointe account, or delete company data. If the portal is unavailable, contact support before the next renewal and keep the request confirmation.

5. Failed or disputed payment

Stripe may retry a failed payment. Paid access may be restricted when the verified subscription status is unpaid, past due, canceled, or otherwise inactive. PinPointe relies on signed Stripe events and reconciliation, so a status change can take a short time to appear after payment or cancellation.

If a charge appears wrong, contact support first so the billing record can be investigated. Nothing here limits a right to dispute a charge with your bank, but an unresolved reversal may result in suspension of paid access associated with that charge.

6. Refund policy

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, and unused time is not automatically prorated. Refunds will be provided when required by law. Support may also correct a confirmed duplicate or erroneous charge and may consider another request based on the documented circumstances.

Submit the account email, invoice or receipt identifier, charge date, amount, and reason through the support contact below. Do not send a full card number or bank credential. Approval of one refund does not create a promise of future refunds.

7. Account and data after cancellation

Canceling Pro changes billing and paid access, not the existence of the account. The account may continue on an available free plan. Use the separate Account closure control or submit a privacy request if you also want customer data deleted. See Data Controls for retention exceptions.
