Terms of Service

These terms explain who may use PinPointe, what the service does, and the responsibilities that come with using contractor decision-support information.

Effective September 3, 2026Version 2026-09-03

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and the service operator identified below. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using PinPointe, you agree to these terms and the linked policies.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you use PinPointe for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. PinPointe is offered for business and professional use, not personal, family, or household use. You may not use the service if doing so would violate applicable law.

2. What PinPointe provides

PinPointe helps contractors match with institutional project work, compare it with a company profile, review available bid prerequisites, save pursuits, and organize bid decisions. Project records are assembled from attributed public sources and customer-provided information.

PinPointe is decision support, not a bid service. It does not submit a bid, contact an issuer, register you with an agency, guarantee qualification, confirm legal compliance, promise project availability, or guarantee an award or profit. You must review the official solicitation, every addendum, and the issuer's submission system before relying on a deadline or requirement.

PinPointe is not affiliated with or endorsed by a listed agency or project owner unless a page expressly says otherwise. Source links and issuer names identify provenance; they do not imply a partnership.

3. Accounts and company information

  • Provide accurate account and company-profile information.
  • Keep credentials private and use the device controls in Account if access may be compromised.
  • Promptly update licenses, certifications, capacity, and other qualifications when they change.
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account, except activity caused by PinPointe's own failure to apply reasonable safeguards.
  • Do not impersonate another person, company, contractor, issuer, or government body.

Qualification Passport entries are self-attested unless clearly marked as verified. A match or readiness result is not an official determination of responsiveness, responsibility, licensing, bonding, insurance, or eligibility.

4. Responsible use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, do not disrupt PinPointe or a source website, extract the service at scale, evade plan limits, misuse contact information, or use project information for unlawful or deceptive activity.

5. Your data and feedback

You retain your rights in information you enter into PinPointe. You give the operator a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that information only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service or meet legal obligations. You are responsible for having the right to provide that information and should not upload secrets or personal data that the requested feature does not require.

If you provide product feedback, the operator may use it without a payment obligation, but will not publicly identify you as its source without permission. See the Privacy Notice and Data Controls for more.

6. Paid plans

Paid-plan checkout and subscription management are hosted by Stripe. The price, currency, billing interval, and recurring terms shown in the Stripe checkout control your purchase. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancellation, plan access, refunds, and failed payments are described in the Billing & Cancellation Policy.

7. Public sources and third parties

Public-source records can be delayed, incomplete, changed, withdrawn, or interpreted incorrectly. “Live,” “open,” match, readiness, job, cost, and similar labels are product classifications or estimates, not statements by the issuer. The official source controls whenever it differs from PinPointe.

Links may lead to services operated by agencies, procurement portals, Stripe, or others. Their terms and privacy practices apply there. PinPointe is not responsible for a third-party service and does not authorize you to bypass its access controls or terms.

8. Availability and changes

The operator may maintain, change, add, suspend, or retire service features. It may also correct or remove records and restrict a source when collection is unreliable or no longer permitted. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid unnecessary disruption, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised.

9. Suspension and account closure

Access may be limited or suspended to protect customers, the service, or public sources; investigate misuse; comply with law; address nonpayment; or enforce these terms. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. You may close your account through the available Account controls or by contacting support. Closing an account does not erase payment obligations already incurred.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinPointe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or remedy that the law does not allow to be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost bids, profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. The operator's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid for PinPointe during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

Material changes will be presented through the service or another reasonable channel before they take effect. The effective date and version above will change when the terms change. If a material change requires renewed consent, affected account features may remain unavailable until you affirmatively accept it. Data-rights requests, account security, sign out, export, and account closure remain available. Prior versions may be requested from support.
